Weedon Grant works across social housing and regeneration advising councils, housing associations, regional bodies, Government and private companies.

The company has advised 200 separate clients. These include long-standing major housing associations, many large scale voluntary transfer landlords and some of the country’s major councils. Weedon Grant prides itself on quality advice, bespoke to individual clients and consequently secures a large volume of follow-on work.

It was originally formed at the end of 1997 by Nigel Tooby and Weedon Grant itself came into being in 2000 with the merger of DHB Grant Ltd and Michael Weedon Associates. As founder directors, Michael Weedon and Nigel Tooby were joined by Nigel Armstrong in 2001 and Martyn Watkins in 2002.

In the years since foundation, Weedon Grant has enjoyed significant, sustained growth. It has made major investment in staffing and IT and now boasts sixteen consultancy staff and a number of specialist associates.

Whilst its consultants are each highly experienced, Weedon Grant prides itself on team strength.  Invariably clients’ commissions can’t be pigeon-holed. The company’s business planning, treasury management, stock transfer, housing, regulatory and IT expertise gained across the housing and regeneration sectors makes for rounded, well-founded advice.

Weedon Grant is registered with the Financial Services Authority.
