Angie is a Chartered Accountant, unusually dual qualified with both the private and public sector accounting institutions.

Before joining Sector Weedon Grant, she spent almost 14 years with Wakefield Metropolitan District Council. There, she undertook a variety of management, technical specialist and project roles, utilising the skills and experience gained from both qualifications. Besides financial and management accounting roles, Angie has specialised in taxation management, charity accounting, management of exchequer functions, performance and change management, together with business process re-engineering and implementation of financial systems.

Angie has extensive experience in the stock transfer process as she managed Wakefield Council's Corporate LSVT Finance Project in its successful transfer of 32,000 dwellings to Wakefield & District Housing. This is currently the largest transfer to a single alternative RSL. Whilst at Sector Weedon Grant, Angie has been the Assignment Manager for Castle Morpeth’s whole stock transfer and also in relation to five of our estate transfers at Sheffield, providing a wide range of advice to both Council and RSL sides. She is also experienced in providing valuation and business planning advice to ALMO’s who may be looking to transfer stock and landlords looking to be prospective partners in stock transfer.
